Karoo Dry Gin

Staying true to a classic dry gin with with juniper as a fundamental botanical supported by citrus and Karoo botanicals. Triple distilled in a traditional old Cape Pot still foraged by fire the same way it’s been done since 1858. The base spirit is wine sourced from the Karoo and prepared specifically for the distilling of the finest grape based spirit. After distilling the wine twice, a smooth spirits base is ready to be steeped with the botanicals and then triple distilled.

The botanicals used are; Orris Root, Angelica Root, Aniseed, Coriander, Cardamon, Liquorice Root, Grapefruit Peel, Rose Petal, Citrus and Juniper Berries.
Nose: Turkish delight perfume with citrus, wild lavender and juniper
Palate: Smooth, rich mouthfeel led by juniper, warm spice and grapefruit.
Finish: A lingering aftertaste with prominent liquorice and aniseed.
